The main objective of the project was to undertake extensive refurbishment of an existing grade 2 listed 4 bedroom property including the complete demolition and replacement of an outhouse barn.

The rooms within the existing property were completely stripped back to their original state and totally refurbished including the introduction of a new modern plumbing and heating system and electrical upgrade.

Replacement windows and doors were installed to match the existing and the staircase and entrance areas were opened up by introducing oak beams and providing new handrail and spindles to match existing.

The main purpose of the project was to provide modern living accommodation within a listed building without jeopardising it’s character for a family of four, the parents having main use of the ground and first floor of the main house, the daughter having the top floor of the main house with use of the ground floor kitchen and the son living in the barn conversion which also housed a gymnasium and kitchenette.
